The Westside Presbyterian Church (PCA) is only in the planning stages.

The church began to organize in 2008.

Westside Presbyterian Church, as a local church, plans to be involved in the community. We believe the best thing that could happen in a family is for the family to be converted to Christ and be in a church where every member of the family (from nursery age and up) is being discipled by the Word of God and being loved by fellow believers.

Further, we view ministry to children and youth as essential.

We promise to come alongside parents to help them raise their children with biblical values.

The Westside Presbyterian Church is a church that will teach, preach and practice grace. The grace of God in Jesus Christ is the foundational principle in all that we do.

There are no second-class Christians. All Christians are saved by and through the grace of God in Christ and not by works nor by being a good person.

The purpose of the Christian life is living our lives in gratitude to God for what He has done. That gratitude includes thanksgiving, pursuit of holiness and willing obedience.

• There is only one way to heaven and that is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Jesus Christ is God.
• We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
• The Bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of God.
• Jesus died for our sins on the cross as our substitute. He was resurrected and sits at the right hand of God, and will come again.
• Telling others about Jesus is essential.

The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) has a strong commitment to evangelism, missionary work at home and abroad, and to Christian education. From its inception, the church has determined its purpose to be "faithful to the Scriptures, true to the reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission."

Organized at a constitutional assembly in December 1973, this church was first known as the National Presbyterian Church but changed its name in 1974 to Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). It separated from the Presbyterian Church in the United States (Southern) in opposition to the long-developing theological liberalism which denied the deity of Jesus Christ and the inerrancy and authority of Scripture. Additionally, the PCA held to the traditional position on the role of women in church offices.
